INHALE, a mechanical sound sculpture, attempts to breathe on its own. The small, arched body rises and falls, draws in and lets go. The most natural act becomes a calculated, mechanical effort. Fragmented sounds are emitted from its echo chamber, alternately filling the small, elongated exhibition space in which it is featured.
INHALE was installed at Artport Gallery, Tel Aviv, as part of ‘Nonfinito’ exhibition 2020, curated by Vardit Gross.
